Open Question: DWI in Massachusetts question?

In Pennsylvania, if your DUI is your first offense, you can apply for the ARD program. There are a lot of benefits to applying for this program, but the biggest one is: The ARD program expunges the DUI from your record. In other words, if you make it through the program, you never have to tell anyone about your DUI again (assuming you don't get a second one). This includes future job interviews, car insurance or loans, etc. It's a pretty great program. Anyway, my friend got a DWI in Massachusetts. I'm assuming there's no difference between DUI and DWI. Is there a program like ARD in Massachusetts? I found something called the 24d program, but the only benefit I found for that program is that you don't lose your license as long.
